wide format landscape photography
Most of my images are composite photographs. That is, they are made up of multiple digital photographs stitched together in a computer. After stitching they are sharpened, color corrected and given the optimum amount of contrast and saturation. Sometimes I apply a digital effect, such as a ‘dry brush filter’ which gives the final image a painterly effect.
This composite ‘image’, which is in the form of a digital file, is printed on a wide-format ink-jet printer on photo paper or canvas. If it is printed on canvas, a UV blocking and moisture protecting spray is applied after the print dries. Then the piece is stretched or matted and framed.
So when you purchase one of my photographs, you are getting a piece that was taken, processed, printed and finished by the photographer using archival quality media, inks and finishing materials.
With proper care these prints should retain their original color and vibrancy for a century or more.
